Property Observer seeks a production editor

Property Observer is seeking an outstanding young journalist and digital native to join our Melbourne editorial team as website producer.

You will be responsible for uploading content to the Property Observer website, adding value and attracting readers to our content, overseeing our daily newsletter, producing multi-media content, managing SEO and other editorial production tasks.

Specific experience/skills required

Experience in content management systems (Joomla preferred) Adobe Photoshop experience essential The ability to write sharp copy, particularly must-click-on headlines Can spot a typo?and potential defamation?at first glance Understand how search engines work?—?and how to push our content to the top The ability to nail the perfect tweet An excellent grasp of social media platforms Must be able to develop rich media content Can manage a network of independent contributors

You will also work in conjunction with designers, IT and marketing teams to manage website development tasks.

A passion or curiosity for real estate is an advantage.
